Huawei to Supply 3G Equipment to Vodafone in Spain

Chinese Huawei announced it has been selected by Vodafone to supply radio access equipment for Vodafone's WCDMA/HSDPA network in certain cities in Spain. Further details on the agreement were not disclosed. This deal is expected to further the collaboration between the two companies, which signed a five-year contract in February 2006 under which Huawei will supply Vodafone with 3G handsets.
